TLA 3 Sweden

TLA 3 Sweden

In April 2024, educators from six European countries gathered in Stockholm for the third Teaching and Learning Activity (TLA 3) as part of this Erasmus+ project Educating Talents. The event was hosted by Sjölins Gymnasium at three of their schools: Södermalm, Vasastan and Nacka.

Over three dynamic days, participants explored how to recognize and support talented learners using the case methodology. Activities included interactive workshops, theory sessions, visiting and experience the three Sjölins schools in Stockholm and the observation of student-led case seminars, such as the impactful case “King Leopold’s Tears.”

Attendees also collaborated to design their own school-based cases and reflected on cross-country experiences. Cultural highlights included a guided visit to the Vasa Museum and networking dinners in central Stockholm.

The event reinforced the importance of international exchange in education and strengthened our Community of Practice through continued engagement via EPALE and the Educating Talents website.
