APRECA is a private in-service Education & training provider created in 1990 with 6 paid employees and 3 volunteers. It has offices in several French regions including Paris-Ile de France – Alsace-Champagne-Ardennes, Bourgogne-France Comté & Midi-Pyrénées. In this way APRECA will help to spread the impact of the project in these diverse regions.

APRECA’s European training dimensions emerged through the development of pioneering IT educational programme & digital solutions for educators, learners, tutors & trainees at all levels from schools, universities, learning & apprentice training centres plus adult education organisations in France & across Europe.

APFRECA also has language teaching department as a training and examination centre for the University of Cambridge (CIE) working for the regions of Champagne-Ardenne, Picardie & Bourgogne. Apreca became a pilot centre in France for the DIRECT ENGLISH method developed by the PEARSON group which integrated language learning into work-based learning.

In addition, Apreca has also been actively involved in management of the European mobility programme EURODYSSEE. APRECA has developed its expertise through European programmes as LEONARDO DA VINCI, ADAPT, ADAPT/STEER and of course Erasmus+. In 2012, Apreca was selected by the French National Agency to intervene in the National Conference as an example of how to develop & manage an outstanding Leonardo project.

Thanks to this experience & a huge network of European partners, APRECA works with a variety of public authorities to facilitate quality work-based learning & innovative pedagogical solutions through the use of up-to-date digital technologies & skills. APRECA has offices in the regions of Ile-de-France, Champagne-Ardenne & Burgundy & is always looking for new innovative practices & solutions to improve the quality of its educational services.

Working with a wide network of European partners such as local authorities, private companies & educational establishments, Apreca has facilitated mobility projects for more than 17,000 trainees (VET trainees, job seekers, apprentices, high school students & students) all over Europe and also manages the hosting in France of trainees from other European countries & the organisation of linguistic training & work-based learning.

We regularly participate in projects &/or partnerships with the aim of improving the quality of our processes. For example, APRECA is also a member of the French Expert mobility network, managed by the French Erasmus+ Agency, & is recognised as an official ‘mobility developer’. Furthermore, Apreca has been actively involved in the development of ECVET through working groups organised by the French NA.

The combination of almost 30 years’ experience with VET leaning, IT & language training in addition to work in past European projects gives Apreca to provide a unique input into the project.
Our day-to-day activities have been hugely impacted by the COVID19 pandemic. Therefore, we would be really interested to develop this Educating Talents project because it would improve the quality of what we can offer to the schools, VET centres,& educators/teachers/trainers that we work with & make a huge difference to us as an organisation.

Apreca will work in tandem with partners and use the experience of European projects and working to ensure the quality of the Educating Talents during the Experimentation phase. Apreca will bring added value to the development of the results because Apreca has been undertaking talent development with learners and staff from a wide range of centres across Europe. Since 2011 This experience will be of considerable value to the Educating Talents project.
