WBE (Wallonia Brussels Education) is the organizing authority for education organized by the French Community of Belgium.

It is an autonomous public body with more than 30000 staff, whose general mission is to participate in the organization, operation and development of 365 schools and 150 institutions related (boarding schools, psycho-medicosocial centres, etc.), spread over the entire territory of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

It provides more than 210,000 pupils or students, from kindergarten to higher education, a neutral quality education open to society. WBE offers learning programs relevant to basic and secondary, ordinary and specialized education, higher education and social advancement education.

WBE values are:

  • respect, understanding of others and solidarity with others (in the context of our project: respect to all kinds of talents,
    understanding of twice exceptional young people, solidarity with them);
  • free will through the development of reasoned knowledge and the exercise of critical thinking;
  • desire to seek the truth with constant intellectual honesty, all of rigor, objectivity, rationality and tolerance;
  • attachment to using freedom of expression without ever denigrating either people or knowledge.

Therefore, in our schools, the philosophy of educating talents is absolutely not to demonstrate discrimination or to form homogeneous groups, but to give talented learners, like to others, the attention and the opportunity to develop that they need, at all education levels, including qualifying education.
